i don't bother making realistic paintings, it's too intimidating. i don't know where to start and how i would even tackle such a task.
this week i had the urge to draw some raptors and after two studies i started to work on the white-bellied sea eagle (bottom). something clicked and now i'm a bit obsessed with making these studies. mainly because of how satisfying it is to see the result, how much i'm learning, and how i actually know what i'm doing for once.
