The ratking is a symbol beneath which many rhynnym rule; stories are told of the things as though they are old friends or lost relatives. A ratking is told to be unaging and undying, but eternally doomed to a half life-- blind, constricted, and of the mind of another. Any surrounding, regardless of form, are said to bend to its will until they finally rot from the inside out. None have seen one of these beasts, leading to a consensus of falsification, or potentially severe rarity.
