i draw very slowly -> i forget where i post things or not
oh well i have some stuff to upload here hello hi
i started to crochet so new post type even lol
Inspiration to become an artist:
The original yeaaaaaars ago from when I was like 13 was that I wanted to draw vocaloid and anime characters because I Like them.
Motivation to keep drawing:
Habit, relaxing. The interest to get into digital was that I tried other stuff like oil painting and Colors stuff but it wasn't clicking at all and yknow stuff is expensive and takes space so the next thing was that!!!! With this move to digital art my new motivation is that it feels rewarding to learn to do more than I could before and keep going with more and more and the process is enjoyable (most of the time). This is why I'm so bad at stories and draw so much for other people LOL I see most pieces as a goal to meet and the how to get there is more fun, not the subject.
What influenced your artstyle?:
In my more anime art era it was pokemon, cutesy anime (ie k-on) and art from visual novels that I liked. After some time had passed doing digital art I came to the conclusion that I'm not as much of an anime art person (i hate lineart!!!!!!!!!) and started going towards semi realism and painting. I don't really remember what I was thinking during that time of learning painting/realism from like nothing, but I can say that I liked it more because I wanted to draw very different looking people with features that you see and imagine and translate to an irl context. Which I think I have succeeded at because I have gotten comments like "hey this looks like a person I know".
Artstyle idol:
Disco Elysium art goes crazy. There are other inspirations too of course but the art from the game is So ever present in my mind that it's the only single artstyle idol I can come up with. When I was going from anime to realism adjacent and painting it was such a strong... umm thing to look up to.
Preferred medium:
Digital. But in traditional I like Plain Drawing Pencil stuff.
Favorite tools/programs:
I have pretty much only used Clip Studio Paint. I want to try to get used to Paintstorm studio but theres soooo much stuff on it.
Mediums you want to try:
One day I will return to try again oil painting or acrylics. Also 3D sculpting.
Most favorite thing to draw:
I really like noses and legs.
Least favorite thing to draw:
Lips :(... Clothes have become more difficult too over time. Oh and shoes but those have been difficult forever.
Preferred background noise:
Just music but recently I've been watching Northernlion instead. He is like a podcast to me.
Self taught or art classes?:
Self taught pretty much, had art classes in middle school but those were more for trying different mediums.
Construction lines or just draw it?:
I'm a big construction line/clean sketch fan, but recently not so much bc I keep getting stuck in the details, not the literal details but the idea of them and some of the drawings I think are better are the ones with less sketching and more direct painting and shapes.
References or pure imagination?:
References all the time of course, my mind library ain't quite there yet.
OC you draw the most:
I guess my dnd characters because they get put in situations and to come up with their designs, but I don't really do more than sketches most of the time.
Media character you draw the most:
Either Wattson apex legends or Shadowheart baldurs gate 3.
Drawing you're most proud of:
Not my favorite but the feeling of proud comes up with this one the most because I did it in one day.

BASICS:
name/nickname: scatter
gender: Well formally I would say genderfluid I guess. If you say man or woman both would be right.
pronouns: she/he
age: 22
location: Mexico!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
fun fact: My cat is sleeping on my bed Right Now.
hobbies/interests: I like videogames and listening to music a lot and im learning to play guitar and languages/translation and watching youtube stuff and tv shows not as much of a movie preference person. Recently I really like going on walks which sounds funny to me to say.
dream job: good pay, doesnt make me want to explode and i have time to do stuff
ART:
favorite medium: Digital art is just so convenient. Regular old drawing pencil is second best.
favorite subjects (what do you like to draw, take pictures of, making music about, ect): I like to draw people, but not really a specific someone as in oh my OCs oh my blorbos because everytime I want to do something sort of different. Fantasy adjacent stuff like vampires and fairies but often still in a pretty regular "daily" life way. Trying to have the feeling of dreamlike, horror/unsettling, stillness or as I've been told "moody". Don't like complicated outfits because I get tired doing them lol
favorite artists/inspiration: In a broad sense I guess fashion, videogames and tv shows mainly, examples would be Thom Browne and Twin Peaks. In a more specific-direct way I would say Disco Elysium, VTMB, mynonjo/crimsoncuria, Erion Makuo, Young John Larriva, Bea Sarrias, Anne Magill, Meghan Howland and My Friends... also all the music I like of course, but that's not very useful in these sort of questions.
favorite period of art: I like impressionism and art nouveau...?
piece you're the most proud of: The one from 2022/11/29. I "name" them all with just the date I finished them jshfjfhjhf I need to have another one I really like it's been too long :-(
how long have you been creating: I count it since I started doing digital art, which was in october 2020, because that's when I started doing it with purpose.
how did you learn: Thank you youtube.
how long does it usually take you to make something: I don't keep track of hours so it's more like, say, two sittings/two days. That is to say either in a day or two if it's a sort of spontaneous thing or a month if it's a planned thing. This is assuming my mood and energy is normal/good lol
what's the big project you haven't got around to yet: In an extremely general way, I want to do art for a visual novel but I'm not much of a story ideas or writing person so that's something not really My big project. A more tangible big thing is I just want to practice and get better/more consistent at drawing indoor places. Scatter hidden object game?
i like doing these things theyre fun
