part of a reference for the hut in the deerwood orchidee and seelie call home. it was long overdue. for the exterior itself, i was inspired by the blackhouses of scotland and ireland, which has a blend of stone and thatching that i found appealing. the back of the house kind of merges into the hill behind it, so i imagine orchidee is able to climb the hill and then use the grassy "gutter" area to repair and replace thatching

as the the garden, dont get the grand idea that orchidee is very good at food prep or cooking. they both stomach it because they dont know any better. once they start getting served charcuterie style bread and cheeses in lafossa, they both quietly come to the conclusion that its a lot better. begrudgingly
