Book preparation jumpscare!
We have three of the deity characters from the book I'm making. Obviously, they're based on Egyptian gods, much like how Marvel's Asgard characters are based on Norse Mythology.
We have Horus at the top, Set on the bottom left, and Anubis on the bottom right.
Anubis is my favorite, I made him a gender non-conforming king and that has to be one of the best choices I've made for this book so far, lol.
Set in my book, since most people can't agree on what animal he's supposed to be, I decided to make a Saiga Antelope. (If you know, you know.)
With Horus, in the world this book takes place in, Horus and Ra are the same person. This is explained through use of both 'Humans make a lot of assumptions' and 'Oral Mythology is one big game of telephone, so it's unreliable', plus some internal logic in the book's world with how immortality works.
Either way, here they are! In their sketched out glory. They probably won't look exactly like this in the actual book, but this is the first draft, so obviously, things are bound to change, lol.
