To celebrate National Pokémon Day, I decided to take a look back in my art folder, particularly the Fakemon folder to see what unfinished designs I had to share for the occasion, and I found this one, and decided to finish it. I don't know if I'll get to share anymore today unfortunately, as much as I wanted to, but hopefully this would suffice.

Palifetch'd was actually an old idea I had sometime after parallel evolution was introduced in the Pokémon games. I found a picture of an old turkey Fakemon I shared to DeviantArt way back when, so I thought about redesigning it into a parallel evolution for Farfetch'd. Obviously, I got too lazy to make an alternate piece portraying a female Palifetch'd, but the females don't have snoods, spurs, or fans. If the odd typing manages to raise any eyebrows, the reason why I made it a dual Ground/Flying-type is actually based on the symbolism of turkeys in indigenous folklore, typically involving harvest, fertility, and generosity, which is often associated with soil and plant life, although I figured the Grass-type wouldn't make any sense.
