I figured I should share this as a sort of easter egg for anyone whos' still following the progress of this game since I'll be taking a brief hiatus for surgery and recovery afterward. While work was still being done, I came up with the idea of bringing back Cinnabar Island. Despite this, the game is not actually set in the Kanto region, nor is it in the same universe as the main Pokémon games, but Cinnabar Island and the Sevii Islands do exist in this universe with the main focus on events taking place in the outerlying islands such as Birth Island, Faraway Island, Navel Rock, and more. Cinnabar Island is obviously where the Missingno event is planned to take place. As you can probably tell, the volcanic eruption that disturbs the island between the events of the first and second games still happened, and this version of the song is supposed to represent the island beginning to naturally return to its former glory.
