An extreme closeup of one of the lenses in the mask of Gihreff the Destroyer, a character of mine. In the dark, because I was playing with the concept of capturing the fact that the mask's eyes glow, when active.
Ink work is done mostly with my rapidograph pen, though at one point I was experimenting with a new dip pen that's shaped like the end of a brush, more than a pen nib. It was neat, but it turned out to not quite measure up to what I had intended. Such is the way of traditional media, you're always trying out new tools and new mediums...not all of them work out.
If anyone is curious as to the inks used: the drafting pen is (at time of writing) filled with Koh-I-Noor "ULTRADRAW" ink. The dip pen was running Aurora's black fountain pen ink.
