Hi!
Something I've been working on during my hiatus is my own personal neocities! I'd really love to share it soon, but I'd like to have a few more pages completed before I do. Currently I'm working on a character introduction page for my comic cast (I finally started working on my comic, yay!), and a collection page for my inazuma eleven merch.
I really love browsing other's sites, and I'd love to see if anyone here has some. We don't need to be mutuals or anything!
I've tried to respond to every comment I had waiting, but please bump me if I missed something you'd like a response to ♡
I've had a super busy month, but I'm back now just in time for art fight. Yahoo!
I had an amazing time at sunnycon and I actually met some fellow sheezy users there which is wild to me! I was tabling in an artist alley for the first time, and it was amazing. I love the vibe and I was so happy to meet some other artists. I'll definitely be doing my best to get a place there next year as it's my favourite convention to go to!
Just wanted to give an update so everyone knows I would never abandon this place, hehe. See you all at art fight!! 🌊🌊🌊
(I also wanna catch up on all the art i missed here!!)
It's coming up to three months since I started using this site, and I guess I just wanted to ramble about how much I still love and adore it. Time has really flown but my excitement for this place hasn't died down in the slightest!
I really appreciate the quality of the users here, getting to chat with people in art spaces is really nice and something I missed a lot. If you've talked to me at all, or commented on my art; Thank you so much!
I'm still waiting on folders before I mass upload a bunch of things, but this is 100% the place I feel most comfortable doing so. I considered making a persona account for sketches, but I couldn't think of a username so I'll keep on waiting. I finally got around to decorating my profile properly though! I'm hoping I can add some more things soon~
Artfight is also brewing, send me your accounts because I'd love to follow more people in preperation for my hitlist! I'm planning to go hard this year hehe (so long as I don't get covid during artfight again...!!!)

This one looked really fun, and I haven't made a journal in a while so hey!

RULES:
Answer each question in as much detail as you like. Skip anything you don't know or would prefer not to answer.
How many usernames have you had? (You don't have to share them!)
If I only count art accounts then 5.
I started using my current username in 2014!!
What does your current username mean?
૮ ˶ˆ ᴥ ˆ˶ ა
What is the first program you used to make digital art?
MS Paint, and then Photoshop Elements.
Where did you first start posting your art?
Neopets! I'd use my pet pages to make profiles for my roleplay characters, and post comic pages haha. I started using DeviantART a little while after. I thought it was the coolest place ever! It really motivated me to draw and make friends through art.
What is the first piece of media you drew fanart for?
The Animals of Farthing Wood! I used to make booklets out of paper with profiles for all of the characters... I remember painting a lot of Watership Down characters as well when I was super young.
Digitally my first fanart was for Warrior Cats! I remember painstakingly trying to draw all of Thunderclan with a mouse on MSPaint lol.
Who was your first self-insert/persona/fursona? What did they mean to you?
Mizu is probably the closest thing to this! She wasn't really a self insert but she was my "main character" when I was 12. I'd put her on my journal headers and everything! Super edgy dog lol, she had a metal leg that I totally stole from FMA. I should redraw her one day to see how much my art changed.

Who is your current self-insert/persona/fursona? How are they different to your first?
Him!! He's pretty different to Mizu, who was a bit rude and sassy (I thought she was so cool...so badass)
One of them is a dog, and the other is a dog with a job.
I should draw them together, actually... hehe.

What/who inspired you to be an artist?
My favourite films and animated series' growing up!
What tools are integral to your current workflow? (e.g. Programs, brushes, references.)
My tablet! I actually have the exact same one I got for Christmas when I was 12... It's a tiny little Wacom Bamboo Fun, and it's somehow still working just fine. (I'm a real 'if it's not broken, don't fix it' type lol) I used to draw exclusively in Paint Tool SAI, but I like drawing in CSP now!
That's probably all, I don't use many interesting tools eheheh.
What improvements have you made recently?
I've been drawing more stuff with original ideas and meaning behind them recently. I don't really post these things right now, because they're for a comic I'm working on...
But I'm really excited to share everything one day! :D
What steps would you like to take in the future?
I'd like to release my comic and get better at portraying my ideas in my art.
And keep on enjoying what I'm doing!!
Convention time is over! (for now?)
This one was much quieter than December, but I was still able to have a successful time!
A few people said they'd like to buy my prints later on, so I wrote down my carrd links, before realising I don't even have an online store which is probably what they wanted...... ;;;;( 。 •̀ ᵕ •́ 。)> I think I'll take a look for some good packaging and then consider opening an Etsy or something similar. I don't know if anyone here has experience selling/buying prints online, but if you have any suggestions/tips/advice then I'd love to hear!
But anyway, I also met some really nice people which is my biggest highlight. Someone recognised my stuff, which made my whole day... And then they came back on Sunday with a gift drawing of my fursona..!!! I almost cried!! TT^TT I can't express how happy this made me... (This drawing now lives next to my bed forever hehe)
Cosplaying was a big "MAYBE..." for me this time, but I was able to fit everything into my suitcase without squashing my wig so I went for it, and I'm SO GLAD I did because I was finally able to meet another InaGO cosplayer in-person. They were amazing and gave me a Tenma sticker I've put in my sketchbook. Sniff. I had so much fun getting to chat away about my favourite series as well. Wah :'3
I've seen a lot of people talk about how conventions have changed a lot from the past, but this experience really made me feel like the social scene is still going very strong. It was so nice and made me really happy! Even if it was a little quiet, it was one of my favourite convention experiences. Hoping everyone here had a lovely weekend, I'm excited to catch up on the art posts I've missed in the meantime. ദ്ദി ˶ˆ ᴥ ˆ˶ ა♡
