Hi all!!! Sorry about the inactivity; finals have been kicking my ass like CRAZY... I haven't been drawing anything post-worthy so I haven't been posting >__< Thankfully the majority of my work will be done by this Friday... After that, I may open commissions--would anyone be interested in sketchbook page commissions like these? I want to gauge interest before I open any options :P I have other options but I wanted to see if anyone would be interested in these before I officially make them an option.
That's all in terms of updates, really :P Hope everyone else's finals are going well!
I didn't expect so much love on my sketchbook page--I realized I hadn't posted any sort of proper introduction, so here we are!
BASICS:

- Fun fact: I broke my pinky toe by running into a doorframe when I was in middle school. Very silly
- Hobbies/interests: Drawing! I've been doing it since I was a kid. I also like to write--I'm a creative writing minor! I mostly write stories and creative non-fiction/prose, though I do dabble in some poetry. It's definitely not my strongest suit. Some other stuff I like: KPOP (my ult groups are OnlyOneOf, ZEROBASEONE, and ATEEZ--but I try to listen to title tracks from every group/soloist), makeup, Chiikawa, Asian-American critical race theory, reading... and other stuff!
- Dream job: I'm not sure...!
ART:
- Favorite medium: I usually draw digitally (Procreate on my iPad) but I used to draw traditionally for most of my life! I've been getting back into it recently by drawing in my sketchbook. I also do a bunch of shitty doodles in pen on my notes in class.
- Favorite subjects (what do you like to draw, take pictures of, making music about, ect): My OCs... I hope to make a visual novel of them someday... or maybe an actual book... I don't know! I also like drawing KPOP idols--it helps that a lot of my OCs have idols as faceclaims, lol
- Favorite artists/inspiration: There's just way too many to count... but just some artists I really like currently off the top of my head: splatbones/jadenvargen, Ningyau, Oongoo, maepop, and more...!
- Piece you're the most proud of: This one! I'm actually prouder of the entire magazine, but I'm too shy to post my writing here... sorry... also the rest of the pages aren't very art-heavy so they don't seem suitable for this website
- How long have you been creating: Honestly? I can't remember I've been drawing for too long. I've definitely been drawing since like kindergarten though
- How did you learn: I kind of just drew whatever until I got hold of a How to Draw Manga book in middle school and then it was over for me
- How long does it usually take you to make something: Honestly? I'm not sure... I used to be known for being exceptionally speedy with digital art when I did lineart. I don't do lineart at ALL anymore is the thing... I just color my sketches or I paint if I want to draw a polished piece which takes so much longer than lineart and flats... I think most of my digital art now takes anywhere from 3 to 12+ hours. My sketchbook pages are generally spread across multiple days, but I'd estimate they take around 2-3 hours on a good day?
- What's the big project you haven't got around to yet: OC visual novel, updated OC heads for my entire cast, fashion references for my main cast... sigh.
