This is from last year, and features Elizabetha with @mieran's character Kjell in our Mermaid AU!

Kjell has a damaged fin and struggles to keep up with the others. I imagined a scene where they swim to the surface with another friend, planning to leap up in the air from below the water. Kjell, however, is not strong enough. Therefore Elizabetha suggests with determination that she will hold him as she swims up - being blessed with a stronger fin.

As they appear below the water again, Elizabetha is (for once breaking her calm mask) overcome with joy and laughs in the aftermath, and Kjell realises a thing or two.
