This was a prompt entry for the Spinxyn closed species group on deviantArt/discord! It's more like a giant sandbox since the group's a spin-off of existing mythical creatures (sphinx, centaurs, and harpies), ahah, but I've been having a lot of fun with the monthly prompts and special events >:3c

Despite me writing most of my entries, this group has caused me to push my art a little further like with last April's "book worm" prompt. Milo, the pink Spinxyn in a blue tweed suit coat, owns his own bookstore, and his buddy ol' pal Detroit (who is totally reading) is paying a visit like he usually does. I thought this would be a good opportunity to show the interior of Milo's shop!
Though there are admittedly some aspects of this piece that I would tackle differentlynow, I'm still fairly pleased with how this turned out :'D It was my first real try at working with "clutter," and it was fun figuring out how to make a space seem "lived in"

There's another piece I made later on this year for the same group that I'm excited to show that's of a similar vein (working with interiors and clutter), but I'm trying to space things out so I can show more variety in my work, ahah
