As my newest sculpture, this one is much more complex than the Cradily while also avoiding all of the pitfalls and errors I made with the Yanmega.
I decided to challenge myself with feathered wings, sculpting clay details such as the horns and teeth, and a very detailed paint job.

This sculpt was originally far more ambitious, but I decided to keep my expectations in check and went for a chibi instead of a full model of the character. It was a time consuming work for sure, but I think the end result was worth it. I'm always proud of myself when I can finish something that was challenging but where I still managed to place my goals at a realistic level.

Unfortunately this is another sculpture with an outdated character design. I mean, I guess it wouldn't kill me to give him brand new horns and paint the mouth again, but I don't think I want to risk ruining it. It was hard enough to make the horns sturdy so that they don't break off if the sculpt falls from the shelf it's on. (which has happened twice already, so I succeeded the first time)
