Entry for Taidenurkka's secret midsummer art trading event, featuring Blue and Sorrel from Astrofern's amazing webcomic, Skyling Song.

Rng gods have blessed me with amazing targets in these secret friend events. I've gotten to make art for people who's characters and stories I'm already familiar and in love with. :D It's probably the reason why I went so hard on this one, really going whole ham on dynamic poses and details. I hope I learn to tone it down for Artfight or I may not finish a single piece.
I had still planned to paint some better background clouds and add some flying leaves and blades of grass, but... Yeah, looking at it now and what other people had made for the event, it's already extra enough. If it were a personal piece and I wasn't tight on a schedule I'd be fine tuning it for two more weeks just to be safe. x)

Now I have all of next week to lineart, color and shade 18 characters and their background for the pride month art before AF begins. Wish me luck!

No partial nudity since these guys have short fur all around their bodies, but mods feel free to correct if it's not obvious enough in the artwork.
