Ref tiiiime!

Every now and then I need to remind myself I can render pretty alright.

This really was the most work-intensive piece I did last year both in terms of hours spent drawing and brain cells burned trying to bring the design to life after 15+ years of never once drawing this character. There was a lot of back and forth and having to reverse to redo things over and over again. It's fine now I think. Was gonna do the backside as well but a small voice in my head held me back, thankfully. PHEW.

Unfortunately though I think the most interesting things about Zero don't get to shine in still form. The curators had no physical form, so the way Ao moved his physical body could be pretty unusual and would be fun to see in motion. I might have to learn to animate goddamnit.
