Hello! I'm a self-taught artist with a love for all things spooky n' scary. My primary medium is digital, and I tend to swing between character design and concept art. That being said I spend a lot of time working on my independent project, 1998, which has been in development for 5-6 years. 10 Questions: FAQ

How long had you've been drawing?

For as long as I can remember! I've pretty much always been drawing furries tbh, and at maybe 7 years old I thought I had done something SOOO cool and original with a blue cat on two legs

Who inspired you to do art?

Lots of Disney at first, but then my Brother introduced me to early Youtube and from there I found classic animation memes and things of the like. My most distinct inspirations was SplashKittyArtist this old series called Fairy Foxes! It's still up if you wanna check it out.

What is your favorite color?

Neon green or some nice shades of orange

Do you own a pet?

I have a black cat named Jynx, and recently we rescued a lop bunny! Poor guy showed up injured in our yard and stayed there for a week, but now he's got a home with us. His name is Dean!

How many fandoms are you in?

At least One. I don't know, I listed a few and there's certainly more, but I'm not very active in fandom culture anymore ^^;

How did you get your username?

In a long, horrifying, and distant past my first real online identity was Skyfur101. As I came into my own both creatively and as a person that didn't really fit me anymore. I am, however, really bad with big changes and so many of my close friends online know me as Sky. So even if I'm on the fence with that connection, I just can't shake it. From there I just switched 'fur' for 'bites' in relation to my interests and project, and here we are!

What is your favorite type of chocolate?

DARK! I'm talking 90% cacao. And I love a good orange or raspberry filling

Is there any advice for new artists you have?

Most important of all: make whatever the fuck you want to make dawg. I don't care if it's bad, or if it's cringe, or if you think it won't do well- none of that matters. You'll always be in your head about it, it comes with the territory, but it's so much more bearable if you give yourself the space to have fun.
Secondly and on a more technical note: practice gesture and simplifying your shapes! I'm very partial to posing, and I hold the belief that practicing anatomy does NOT always have to be 100% realistic, detailed, or what have you when studied. There's a lot of room to grow (and have fun) from your basic shapes. Get your general idea in it's most primitive form, and you're off to the races.

And finally, the final question. Are you a morning person or a night owl?

I am a morning person against my own will.
