I feel like I haven't been active on here in forever when its only been like 2 weeks since I checked my inbox lmao. Since I finally have a day off I went through and liked/commented on a ton of art I missed. I've been busy working and updating my character refs in time for Artfight!! Just goes to show how much I like this site that I was missing talking to y'all after only a few days lol.

Currently I'm participating in Artfight! I'm sticking to my strategy from last year of only drawing 3hr icons for now, but I might expand into more experimental/bigger attacks as the month goes on. I have big plans for art and animations for the rest of this year, so I don't want to burn myself out.

I'm gearing up to make some original animations with sound sometime after Artfight. I'm really nervous about it for some reason? I haven't animated anything to sound that wasn't an animation meme, making something from scratch is so daunting! I don't even know what song to pick! I do know it'll be a very experimental thing, both because it'll be my first original animation and also because I'll be doing some experimental art/animation styles in it!

One of my long time mutuals spammy has been inspiring me recently to get into low poly 3D and game dev again, even though I have too many projects right now already. But part of me is also like... I could make 3D models and environments of my current characters and that would probably help a lot with my projects and 2D art skillset anyways.

I have had an idea for a low poly diddy kong racing inspired girly racing game for the last 6 years I wouldn't mind actually making real someday. Of course a game like that would take years of development on its own and I really want to focus on thrive and morningreins right now, but practicing those skills by modeling my ocs and making mini games/walking sims with them wouldn't be a waste of time at all... hmmm....

Anyways I hope you guys are doing well! For the next 4 weeks I'll have a bunch of artfight attacks and hopefully later more thrive/morningreins art to share here soon!
