Soul was born in a tribe so no one around him knew at the time that there is anything out there, out of the world that tastes better than fish/berries and other bunch of stuff.

When his world shattered and he lost his parents at young age, Soul was adopted by Kira The Caracal who introduced him to various foods, making him fall in love with Chocolate chip cookies epecially! He's a big sweet tooth ever since and sometimes cooks those sweets for himself)
