i HATE shopping, so I just made a bunch of gifts this year. This was completed some time in November.

My dad gave me some wood carving tools so I could stop borrowing his, so I wanted to make him something as thanks. It went very well! up until I tried wood burning details to very bad results. Sanding didn't fix it, so I panicked and painted the whole thing. I think papa would have preferred the unfinished wood appearance, but it just didn't work out. Even though in hindsight the damage wasn't that bad
