new character - this time for Silksong! The game is still new and it feels like there is so much lore I'm missing, but so far I'm thinking...

Wax was taken in by the Burning Bugs as a grub, but after pupating he woke to find the Father of the Flame destroyed and the cult missing. it's been rough since then, hiding deep in the thicket from zombeetles and looters alike, until one day he was desperate enough to scavenge the remains of the Father for supplies. There he met Lamp! or rather, found a lingering ember from Father, which he quickly stuck in a lantern and nurtured back to a healthy glow.

Now he has a companion to chat with, one who whispers back in a voice only Wax can seem to hear. Lamp appears intelligent, able to launch burning Wisps as an extension of its will to protect Wax and keep the young firefly.

He still hides in Wisp Thicket, but he may be influenced to leave should he meet a capable friend.
