The square Tattoo Sikion has is a mark that is given to dangerous magic/powers users by some kind of Government/Group that rules level of powers/magic to avoid breakouts and posible caos.
Powerful unused power or magic tends to go out of control so Sikion has to go to the facility and let out his powers once in a while.
He is letting his powers out of control but also fighting hard to keep his power in control to hold it on time. His eyes turns red when out of control.

There's some scenes I am thinking but i am not sure how to explain them since is more like a vision Sikion has when is about to blackout (Slobino makes his role here somehow)
