Finally I figured out what I needed to do to make backgrounds look half decent. I will admit that some of the lines are wonky in how they converge and some just aren't straight, but as long as it is believable that is all what matters. I think I know what I would need to do to create my own scenes after this study and that is by planning out what the composition of that scene would look like and the perspective, then gather references.
