World Building Time!

Stonebloods: Powerful dragons with jaws able to crunch the hardest rocks and metals. They can heat up rock and metal in their bellies and breathe it out as molten lava. A rare ability can be found is this race on occasion that allows a dragon to move stone and earth at will. Dragons with this ability are called Stone Casters.

Blackbloods: Lean cat like dragons that have a fluffy tail, retractable claws, and small bioluminescent markings. They are able to breathe out smoke and ash at hot temperatures to suffocate and burn foes. Their rare ability allows a dragon to manipulate smoke into shadow like illusions. Dragons with this ability are called Smoke Casters.

Bloombloods: Dragons that have bug and snake like qualities. They have venomous teeth and tail barb that can grow more deadly of the dragon eats toxic plants. The rare ability of this race allows the dragon to grow plants immediately from any biological matter (ex: Other plants, Fertile soil, Other dragons and animals). Dragons with this ability are called Root Casters.

Icebloods: Dragons with thick hair and quills that can live in the coldest temperatures. They have an ability to freeze things with their breath, which is similar to liquid nitrogen. A rare ability in these dragons allows some to freeze their fur and quills into sharp points, along with the ability to cause frost burn with a touch if they so wish. Dragons with this ability are called Ice Casters.

Burnbloods: Dragons that live from the deserts to volcanoes. These are your classic Fire dragons that produce white and sometimes blue flames from their mouth and neck vents. Their rare ability is bending fire to the dragon’s will. They can even engulf themselves in flames at will. Dragons with this ability are called Flame Casters.

Tidebloods: Dragons that are able to breathe and live in water, communicating underwater with dolphin like clicks and bioluminescence. They can swallow large amounts of water that can be breathed out as super heated steam, or just as a stream of water. They have a rare ability where the dragon can control water around them to their will. These Dragons are called Tide Casters.

Brightbloods: Dragons that live in the highest peaks and can fly through the toughest weather. These dragons can breathe out electric plasma bolts from their mouth. The rare ability of this race allows dragons to electrify their whole body and air around them. Dragons with this ability are called Storm Casters.
