🎨 ART
✦ Favorite Medium
Digital
✦ Favorite Subjects
I like to make games with low resolutions in Flash. I usually make everything about them.
✦ Favorite Artists / Inspiration
My inspiration are the gold age games from Konami and Capcom.
✦ Favorite period of art
Actually... None.
✦ Piece you're the most proud of
My latest work is actually my best one: Lunatica Sizzle.
✦ How long have you been creating?
I don't have an exact date, but my first Newgrounds upload says since 2005.
✦ How did you learn?
Trial and error.
✦ How long does it usually take you to make something?
Lunatica Sizzle was made for a gamejam from scratch in one week. It had great results. Holy, I'm fast.
✦ What's the big project you haven't got around to yet?
Commercial games. I think I need a team, I can't do everything alone. I just lose motivation.
Sheezy is back? Again? Wow... It seems like this thing refuses to die!
A lot has happened in almost 3 years, more for the worse than for the better, but here we are. I'm not going into detail. In these three years, I've participated in 3 game jams with incredible results. Chair Bound, Tim Skint, Lunatica Sizzle... Very good games, but incomplete. It turns out that I'm not able to maintain motivation, and that saddens me a lot. Projects like Flash Forwarder Tools have been canceled, but for example, RetroFlash Toolkit, which I mentioned earlier around here, progressed quite a bit and Ruffle can actually work with it now.
I'm glad Sheezy is back. Maybe it will motivate me a little. I've already redesigned my profile a bit and fixed it since it was broken.
¿Sheezy ha vuelto? De nuevo? Vaya...
I feel like I'm relapsing into depression again.
Hey there! How's it going? I'm currently working on something I'm calling the RetroFlash Toolkit.
It's a Flash component that I've developed in ActionScript 2.0 with the objective of creating pixel-perfect video games. The toolkit includes a layer system with automatic swapDepth and classic controls, among other scripts for game developers. I've already utilized early development versions of the RetroFlash Toolkit in Suenio and Wait For The Waiters, Flash games that emulate a retro look thanks to its rendering.
Currently, Ruffle isn't compatible with BitmapData functions, but I don't anticipate it will take more than a year. Once it's completed, the RetroFlash Toolkit will be made public for everyone.
Would you be interested in watching me stream the process of creating a game using the RetroFlash Toolkit?
I have other projects in the pipeline, such as the Flash Forwarder Tools, a desktop Flash Player designed to run Newgrounds content. It's compatible with the NG API and MacOS, but I'm taking a break from it for now.
¡Hola!
Now I can allow comments from anybody. Thank you SheezyArt.
Sheezy is back? Oh boy! WTF, I was only 16 when I joined this site and now I'm 31. Anyway... Could it be there is someone here who also speaks Spanish or am I the only weirdo from Spain? LUL
It has been many years, I probably won't find friends who disappeared 15 years ago or I no longer know anything about them. So I'm going to mention them in their memory.
3R2, Nichomaru, Jeunesse, Dan-Dark, Martis, Rau, Frario, Blackhawk93, Dykrentsu, EkD, Dudul, Yant, Vitor Araujo, NaokoChan
PS: I did not expect that amount of Eddsworld fanart.
¿Sheezy ha vuelto? ¡Ostras! WTF, Tenía 16 años cuando me registré aquí y ahora tengo 31. Vamos a ver...

Blocking tags? OMG! Yes, please!
