ferne thornvine, apodemus sylvaticus (wood mouse). nocturnal forager and adventurer. collects seeds, fungi, and roots (and berries and fruits seasonally). solitary and lives alone. craves adventure and often leaves their burrow for multiple moons to explore, gather, and find new places.

the end of their tail is very thin and often curled into a spiral. soft and clean fur of cream and brown tones. large, dark, reflective eyes like black glass marbles. whiskers curl at their ends. wears a woven green hat and vest of the same corduroy found-material, an apricot blouse, and a pair of heavily patched, roughspun trousers.

their common inventory includes a backpack for tools, a forager's bag, a sewing needle, a handmade rope, and two handmade climbing hooks.

very quiet and often holds a blank expression. has an extremely strong willpower and sense of justice. deeply curious and while not overly kind, will always do their best for someone in need who deserves the help. very wary and scrutinizing. cautious, bright, and brave. does no harm but takes no shit. has been known to put even very large animals in their place who threaten them.

sews, bakes, cooks, preserves collected fruits, and plays small instruments. also adept at riding birds, bats, and other larger creatures.
