I am working on a piece of pride art rn. Sorry to have been so quiet, my studies actually ended about 7 days ago, but I was so exhausted I had to sleep for like a week before I could do anything else!
I'm looking forward to graduation. I graduated from places before but I guess when I was a teenager I was just happy to be outta there and didn't look back, and other courses since I was too burnt out to go. So I actually never got to a graduation ceremony before. I'm surprisingly kinda excited to get a silly picture in the silly gown, wearing the silly hat, and holding the silly scroll! (Which uh, someone spoiler-ed for me btw, apparently that's not our real certificate it's just a prop and the real one comes by post. Did you know that?)
Currently working on:
update: Jun 8,
Comic - working title: Project W - status: Current progress status: %90+ written (it's actually fully written but I'm rewriting parts I'm less happy with before I continue thumbnailing), %20-ish of panels are drafted, 5 pages (%4 approx) complete.
Idea dev - working title anagram: COA - status: preliminary research phase.
Bug Stickers - %75 complete - looking for on demand host/print service.
I'm just not posting much because I'm at the grindstone with uni stuff. I have a lil trade half to post sometime in the next week and a half-ish. But other than that it's just uni stuff taking up my life 24/7 right now.
So the end of academic Yr3 is almost over in a few months. I'm a lil bit undecided tbh abt what I want to do with my art after I leave BA illustration. I developed a whole style range in the last few years so much that I have had to put it in a grid format thing to make it easier for people to identify what style they mean when they say "your style" (my style) to me.
Is it worth keeping such a big range and offering it up as options still after I leave? Or will it naturally shrink down a lil bit anyway eventually do ya think?
Believe it or not I do have a "default" for each medium (physical media usually just that bit more realism than digital).
Out of curiosity if anyone has seen the grid in my pinboard on my profile, would you care to guess what you think is closest to my digital and physical defaults?
:D I'm gonna put one of my persona pages to good use and make a nice lil selection of some of the art I've received in the pin board there:
