This is a picture I made for a large compilation work inspired by a family trip I took last month. I had this visual of Shadow tripping Sonic into a fountain in my mind since it came to me in a dream when I was a kid. I just wanted to bring it to life somehow. The way I drew and colored in Sonic and Shadow is inspired by Sonic Prime, with how much detail I tried to add to their fur and quills. That look on Shadow's face when they fight over the tech cracks me up! I knew it would be perfect to try to recreate it here! Who says the Ultimate Lifeform can't have a sense of humor?
