Inspiration to become an artist: uhh. I’ve been drawing ever since I was little! It was kinda my whole “thing” so I suppose I latched on to that… i dunno what else to say
Motivation to keep drawing: i like it :] its fun, and it makes others happy! Plus i can make funny critters
What influenced your artstyle?: ohhhh uhhmm. Hmm. I mean, a lot of things definitely. Over the years, it’s hard to think of what specifically. I’ve been inspired by a lot of western and eastern furry art… when it comes to my painting style, i have to say that the art of disco elysium inspires me a lot there! And when i got into jojo i found my art changed and improved a lot… so that too!
Artstyle idol: shigenori soejima. Definitely. I can stare at his illustrations and designs for HOURS. Theyre so good. Crisp and concise yet incredibly well redered. So good.
Preferred medium: digital! I’ve been trying some stuff with markers recently… and i’ve been using a lot of chalk pastels… even if i dont like them that much honestly.
Favorite tools/programs: i use procreate! I looove my “pixel fun” brush (its what i use for my pixelly painterly stuff among other things), but i also usually use “fading edge” from georgs brushes.
Mediums you want to try: hmmmm…. Gouache… i have used it before, but not a lot.. and from what i have tried, i really like it!
Most favorite thing to draw: cats or other strange critters. Mostly cats though.
Least favorite thing to draw: human legs and feet. I dont know what it is but they always cause me SO MUCH grief. So hard to draw for no reason.
Preferred background noise: any of my music! I mean, hopefully some that fits the vibe of what i’m drawing, but any will do. I SOMETIMES listen to a podcast but i dont retain any info so I have to re-listen later. Sometimes i might have a youtube video on though. Usually a speedrun or video essay.
Self taught or art classes?: well… i started out pretty self taught, but I have been in actual proper classes. When it comes to digital stuff, though, i’m pretty self taught. …plus I historically hated being told what to do in my art classes as a kid…
Construction lines or just draw it?: both! If I’m doing a nice commission or art trade for someone I’ll do a sketch, or if I wanna make smth really thought out. But i also just really like free drawing! Its much more relaxing, and not too hard if I’m familiar with the subject.
References or pure imagination?: depends… if i have a really good, clear idea of what i want, i might just go and do whatever. But if i’m unsure, or i have a specific thing i want to draw but dont know how… references all the way! It never hurts to have a reference!
OC you draw the most: ohh… probably strawberry (my fursona) or divine comedy (my other fursona)… divine comedy was only created a few months ago but hes already nearing the amount of images berry has on his toyhouse page. Theyre just so fun to draw…
Media character you draw the most: hmmm. Well, my jojo fixation has faded a little but fugo from jojo’s bizarre adventure was all i’d draw for a while. I still draw him sometimes, just not as much. Currently? I’ve been drawing a LOT of maruki from persona 5! Hes my comfort character <3
Drawing you're most proud of: uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh idk. I like all my drawings! The silly akechi furry drawing i made turned out surprisingly nice i think? Im not sure. I dont really think about this honestly…

Luckily, I’ve been back in the swing of drawing recently, so you can (hopefully) expect to see more up-to-date works from me. Sketchy, maybe, but thats just how I roll.
Another thing, total non-sequitur here: i’ve been playing paranormasight!
Ohhhh. Its SO good. If you like mysteries, horror, and like VNs? Do check it out! Its spooky and delightful to piece together. I personally also think its really funny. These guys looove dying. Maybe I’ll draw some fanart… who knows!

favorite subjects (what do you like to draw, take pictures of, making music about, ect): i like to draw my ocs… but i also really love drawing cats! i just. Like cats. If its writing, i like to handle topics like loss. Not to say my visual art doesn’t include that either
favorite artists/inspiration: ohhh. Uhh. Uhhmm. Uhh. My friends? People i follow? I really like the work of sui ishida (tokyo ghoul) and shigenori soejima (persona)… like. Have you seen the rendering soejima does? My goodness. Awooga. So simple yet so effective.

piece you're the most proud of: hmmm… currently i really like the turru headshot i posted (with the red background). ive been trying this more “painterly” style and its very fun!

how did you learn: sheer force of will. I have taken proper art classes though, but i still have many self taught skills.
how long does it usually take you to make something: i am very fast, so usually 1 or 2 hours? 3 hours if i’m really taking my time. But if its a big complex thing? Who knows
what's the big project you haven't got around to yet: ouugughhhh. Theres a variety of things. I wanna make proper guides to the creatures in my sci-fi worldbuilding project though… but its taking forever! Rip to my man, many wips forever unfinished
