Bio:
In addition to the humanoid longmas that live on Shijie, horse-like longmas also exist. These creatures serve as mounts for warriors to ride and as beasts of burden which are able to pull carts and huge loads. Yu Ma is descended from the first line of these longmas, making her somewhat like royalty and even earning her the nickname: The Jade Horse. Yu Ma is able to speak the languages of both longma subspecies fluently, allowing her to talk.

During an invasion of Caoyuan, the Outcast Clan captured Yu Ma and brought her back to Baolei to be used as a steed in their upcoming invasion. When Mazhanshi flees Baolei, she frees Yu Ma and Yu Ma agrees to accompany her. Yu Ma acts as Mazhanshi's companion and signature means of transport across Shijie.
