I wanted to try my hand at this idea for a Sitka piece, inspired by the song Fearless by the Goo Goo Dolls (great song by the way highly recommend).

Sitka has always been a confident and strong character, and I wanted to kind of combine that with the lyrics/vibe of the song, with him being, as the title would suggest, fearless. I also wanted to make this as a sort of getting-my-confidence-back type piece. I was really in the pits of an awful depressive episode for like a solid month and a half and finally came out of it a week or so ago. So there's an element of "I had the strength to make it through" to this piece as well.

Beyond that I was just trying stuff out here. It gave me more practice with shading and highlighting, which I hadn't done in awhile as well as some texturing and stylizing for the background. I think some of the shading looks a bit odd but at least it's some more practice
