Fluttershy is a Unicorn mare who lives on the outskirts of Ponyville, taking care of animals. She always has butterflies following her due to the flowers in her mane. She is good friends with Rainbow Dash, whom she met when he crashed on earth after his first Sonic Rainboom, and Rarity, who she met after taking care of her cat, Opal.
