"So, I was watching a video on Youtube where various artists were drawing their alter-egos in the style of their favorite anime. That got me thinking what sort of anime I would use and which of my alters to use. Then a thought came to me: Waku in Ginga-style!

But as I was thinking of putting my character IN the series, I started thinking how Waku would fit in, if she really was part of the Ginga-world. Waku was always a Akatora-copy, so the most logical thing to do would to make Waku Akatora's pup. Let's pretend he was sweet with a female dog from his home-place near the Kōfu-town before he left to help the Ohu-army. Few months after he left, his sweetheart gave birth to his pups, Waku being one of them. She waited for Akatora to return, but when he didn't, she simply decided to move on and took another mate. Waku however was intrigued from hearing her father was a well known soldier and promised to find him. So she makes her way towards the Ohu-mountains, about a year after Akakabuto's defeat.

She finally makes it, only to hear that her father died in the battle. Waku decides to stay with the pack and is trained by her uncles in becoming a soldier. By the time Weed takes place, she is part of the younger generation alongside her cousin Kagetora and Ben's son Ken.

She is hot-headed and proud and often thinks Weed is too childish and blue-eyed to lead the pack. She is greatly loyal towards Gin however."

Most of this story was later used on my Ginga-story Ginga Densetru Shin with the character Torayuri.
