A closer look at the Nubisgon species!
They tend to be very protective and standoffish to compensate for their frail bodies. Nubisgons are responsible for regulating the atmosphere and weather patterns by manipulating/creating clouds with their talons and temperature fluctuating breath.
The coloration of their feathers is determined by the state of the sky they are born underneath. As eggs, the shells tend to change with the sky up until they hatch.
Biome consists of condensed clouds and pumice stone. Mayan inspired architecture.
As they reach adulthood they learn to preen and style their feathers to impress others. Those that do not are considered immature or lazy. Adults' overprotective nature tend to keep their offspring secluded in huts where they were born until they also reach adulthood. Because of this, most Nubisgon rarely ever leave the sky out of fearing the unknown threats from below.
