FFVII Remake/Rebirth Fanart of Cloud Strife from the Final Fantasy 7 remake video game series. First piece of art I've done after spending six to seven weeks drawing nothing but wooden building blocks, hands, feet, birds, fish, dogs, cats, people and faces. I hated every second of it, but the study yielded this piece of artwork.

Originally meant as a hair study that evolved into a finished portrait of Cloud. I didn't mean for it to get this far, but I couldn't stop drawing.

Approx: 100+ Hours of work because I obsessed over every little detail from the hair to the eyes to the tank-top (including every bump of that silly knitted fabric).

All original work done in GIMP using a circular brush at 50% Fade at different sizes, including for the eyes. I do not use texture brushes in any of my artwork.
