The design of my fictional version of SARS-CoV-1 (pronounce as SARS coronavirus one) got an update. I got rid of the rat tails as seen in most of my coronavirus designs, and decided to give it more bushy tails. Now it looks more like a fox. Also, these two virions are in their winter proteins, that's why they may look kinda chubby.

Like all coronavirids, the majority of SARS-CoV-1 virions are born melanistic. This helps them blend in with the darkness at night, when they're hunting cells. They can be either fully black or have some white markings like the one seen on the picture. Some virions are born in the actual existing fox colors.

The virus makes actual fox noises too! However, like all members of the Sarbecovirus subgenus, the King-virion is able to roar (his battle cry, which also prompts his pack to attack) and roar-bark (to silence his entire pack at once). The roar and roar-bark voice of a SARS-CoV-1 King-virion sounds more cougar-like than that of SARS-CoV-2 King-virion, who has more of a growling tiger voice.

SARS-CoV-1 is the virus that caused the SARS outbreak in 2002.
