I remember at some point I tried to draw the Shinomura from one of the Godzilla comics but the thing seemed to look different in every panel and I couldn't figure out how to draw it. I decided to use that line art for coloring but I didn't care too much about being accurate to it but liked the basic idea of the black and blue color scheme and came up with this.
