Monki is the titular character in my Ninja Monkey comic. With this series made for OC-Tober, I played around with the style a bit. Monki is usually not portrayed as muscly, but I wanted to see what he would look like in a more traditional western comic style-- at least anatomy-wise. The lineart is a little soft for that, but again, I was using this time to play around with styles.
Monki, as his occupation would suggest, is a mysterious figure who sweeps in to Orange's life and disrupts everything. He is obviously capable and has a goal in mind, but he keeps his motivations to himself and their destination as well. While he is a skilled fighter with some magic at his disposal, he seems to constantly be dragging Orange into danger. Or perhaps danger follows them both. It's tough to say. Monki has a more antagonistic relationship with Wang who tags along unbidden, but has sworn to protect Orange. The loud and clumsy strong man cramps the ninja's style, but Monki can't argue he's a useful ally (or distraction) in a fight. He just wishes Wang were a bit more... subtle.
