I want to be left alone, able to breathe. Able to be. Able to live without people thinking they know me better than myself. Able to live without arbitrary expectations of who I should be. Able to live without people telling me what to do, thinking they know what is good for me, despite them not taking my words seriously. I did not plan on this being a sketchy looking drawing. It was going to be more painterly, but as I was sketching out the values, I loved the black and white sketchy look. It ended up looking kind of like it was drawn with charcoal, but it wasn't. Good luck, I guess. Well, I hope you enjoy this angsty drawing.
