I put drawing this comic aside for a few reasons. First was that I wasn't happy with the line work in it. The character's designs weren't coming across as clear and distinct as I wanted. And I also got further into another project I was working on and decided to dedicate most of my art time to it instead.
I bring this all up because the other day someone made a post on another platform about how bad they feel when they abandon an idea to work on something else and... that's the creative process, babe. You toss shit at the wall until you find something that sticks.
Never feel bad about something that wasn't working. File it away and add the skills you developed while working on it to your tool kit. You can always use aspects of it in some other way in the future. Or even approach it with a fresh perspective that allows it to finally work.
You didn't fail. You grew.
