originally posted elsewhere in august 2023, this was a piece of fanart i did of grian (yes, the minecraft youtuber/one of the hermitcraft folk) because as someone who enjoys hermitcraft and life series stuff and draw a lot of creative inspiration (both in drawing and in building!) from the hermits and grian especially (though he's not the only perspective i watched, nor the first one i watched! i've been watching mumbo since like. s3-s4 lol), i drew something for his birthday back in august. intended to do a scar piece for scar's birthday too, but my chronic pains and health have been less than kind to me over the past year and a half and around that time was particularly bad haha.

this may not have been the most extravagant of pieces to do for his birthday, but by golly did i have fun drawing it then and even if the bg is simple and the idea isnt too special, i loved how the wings and bird features and lighting and stuff turned out on this, even for something simple. i'm still quite happy with and a lil proud of it!
