In late 2022, I had gotten back into Bendy And The Ink Machine thanks to Dark Revival, and revamped my AU to include lore from it. Though, I can't bring myself to completely redesign Benny to be more original.
In the machine, there are different ink realms known as "layers". Each layer has its own Ink Demon, and they're all different. Some are docile and harmless, others are neutral and just want to be left alone, and there are those who are very aggressive. Benny is one of the docile ones.

Now, about him; Benny, also known as The Red King, is the most rational and self aware of the Ink Demons. He remembers everything from his human life and made his layer to be a safe space for everyone. Though, he can still be dangerous if he deems someone a threat
If someone is close to him, such as his mom and dad, he'll allow them to call him Rory instead

Fun fact: in 2017 or 2018, Benny was just a fun mash up of my two favorite videogame characters, the other being Alex Mercer from the Prototype games
