A villain from a project I'm working on. I ended up having to figure out her design to give a different character's design some sense of direction.
I had something more interesting in mind for the background, but I ended up forgetting about it while doing the initial coloring and it wouldn't have worked. Oops.
I tried to use my usual technique for shading, using dodge and burn layers, but it wasn't coming out how I wanted and I was getting impatient, so I just decided to do a paint over. I ended up experimenting with a brush that had a randomizing effect with each stroke, and I was really pleased with the results. I liked it so much, I'll definitely do something in this shading style again.
