My initial references for the Ancient Portal Masters, some of the recurring original characters from the story! A group of portal masters from the Giants' time who devised a way to hold their power from beyond their grave to combat the Arkeyans' slaughter of their forces, their brilliant idea preserved them far longer than anticipated when it allowed their spirits to survive into the present day. Over the course of the story, they join the heroes' fight in stopping Kaos, and later Arkilles, the final emperor-king of the Arkeyan Empire who'd returned from the grave, from reviving the Arkeyan Empire in the present day.
