So, uh... Quite a long story behind this cute little sketch.

We're in the upper southeast and got hit by the last remnants of Hurricane Helene early Friday morning, as it made landfall way more inland than we anticipated. While we were okay, we discovered that the roof directly under my room in the rear of the house was so severely damaged that it caused leakage for god knows how long. We had no clue because the leakage started in the front months ago, but I suspect that was the cause of gravity while it began building up on my side because I could see ceiling tiles dampening in my room until the majority centered there after breaking through somewhere around the fan. Finally, it began to buckle after a huge storm surge a day or two before Helene made its way west and hit us along the way.

Before the remnants of the hurricane's eye hit us, we were by the tail and got nonstop rain that caused the ceiling to collapse in my room - right near my desk. So, I was forced to move to my bed. Shaken and not knowing what to do, I just watched TV and sketched on my tablet. This is what I drew. The cropped image (which I technically got permission from Piti Yindee, mostly to clarify if the PDF it was from was in the public domain - it is xD) was used to create my own version, since I keep forgetting to consider a character's shape. I never got that kind of teaching, even though I'm aware of it being vital to character design. 😅
