When Guardians 3 came out, I started retooling Aidan into a full fledged OC inspired by Rocket Raccoon because I just loved the character so much. Originally, I had intended to have a similar origin story that also paid homage to Secret of NIMH. But... I had trouble bringing myself to write such a dark story (as much as I love engrossing myself in it) and decided to subvert it in favour of something lighter and fun by giving him an enormous scientific factuality inspired by Dexter's Lab and Portal.

Direct follow up to Aidan's Lab. He originally had a sweater and kilt but that began to overlap with other characters of mine (since he began as mouse version of another character of mine). Also, the new lab things just didn't fit his old outfit but now it serves casual secondary.

Now he just needs a companion and friendly rival.
