Going back to my roots and embracing my love of Sonic art with this homage to Sonic Riders, specifically Tails, using Max Casey, my new fursona and character. Max directly derives from Zack Casey, the main character you've seen in this persona so far, so I could finally move on from the original, adding in the new skirt, letterman jacket and goggles without giving up the blue fur and brown hair aesthetic. The two are in-universe cousins with a brotherly bond, as a homage to my childhood. Though, I honestly don't care what anyone does with these two, that's just my canon. xD

Coincidentally, the Riders version of Tails and other Sonic characters had goggles for the game, but that's just who Max is here. What's even more hilarious is that Zack wears a hat in later iterations. While it was meant to get around my inability to draw hair back then, it became a nod to Mighty Max and served a similar role as an iconic part of his character to compensate for the lack of unique fur markings that my future mouse character would have.

Meanwhile, the Riders style was one of my favorites back then and today. My original Flash-based artwork used a variant of their shading technique to work within my own limitations.
