When Adobe brought Macromedia, I swore never to touch the Creative Suit editions of Flash. Version 8, the last one made by the former company, was enough for my needs (and still is). That being said, I can't deny my efforts to stick with this ancient relic of software from a Mac might have reached its peak. ^^; While it is fun running OS X Tiger on A VM, finishing the third and final Flash version of ZC's Dress Up from it might be a bit overkill, to say the least.
I've been thinking, now that Adobe has switched to a subscription model, something like Flash CS5 honestly doesn't seem all that bad anymore. I still have to jump through hoops to get it working on macOS because they waited until the last minute to switch to 64bit! Meaning, I can't even run the native version of the Creative Suit from my M1 Mini, even if I tried. AND I HAVE! (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ ...But, that just means I have to install Wine, instead, which is easy, simple, and a lot more useful now than it was when Macromedia was around.
That being said, aside from maintaining old artwork, I'm mostly doing this so I can sharpen my skills for when Wick Editor becomes more polished. I miss animating.
Literally, and figuratively. xD This is the archive for a lot of my older artwork from the mid to late 2000s that I had on my former DA account of the same name, in no real order. Most of the old art and comics were between friends that I haven't spoken to in years, and contain a lot of in-jokes that would take an entire novel to explain. So, those will mostly be avoided.
