fun unagi tidbit: i created him when i was 16 and he's pretty much a completely different character now (since i'm pretty much a completely different person now), but he was punk from the very beginning. his earlier outfits definitely leaned more emo and now there's also the strong yami yugi influence (because somehow yu-gi-oh managed to tap into my exact fashion sense which is to say. duelist kingdom leather belt top) but his affection for belts and spiked collars has always been there.
i also started listening to Muse a lot more when i was 15-16 i think and that also influenced his development. i associate unagi a lot with Spiral Static and Space Dementia. especially Space Dementia. that song does weird things to my emotions
