I'm still learning how things work here and I'm also deciding what art to share. My personal favorite things are what I tend to draw.
I'm still kind of recovering from all the chaos of the holidays. I really pushed my social battery beyond its limits so I've been kind of kicking back during my free time rather than drawing & following the art plans I had laid out for myself. I think that's okay though. Eventually I will become bored and restless and that's when things will get rolling.
In the meantime I think I'll just upload old art. When I see my art all laid out in one place, it tends to bring me confidence. When it's hidden away in folders and sketchbooks I forget that I ever created anything and I start to feel like such an imposter. It's that object permanence that I always seem to struggle with.
Looking forward to a new year and hopefully regaining some confidence!
I was gifted The Artist's Way for Christmas, so this January I'll start that journey. I think I will start reading the introduction material now, so that I'm ready. I'm not a very strong reader and lately I haven't been a very disciplined artist. My only new year's resolution is to try and stick with it. Even if I go slowly, I want to keep going!
Does anyone have any experience with The Artist's Way? I would love to hear peoples' experience with it.
