another old balto oc, i decided to mash up a bunch of my old work with her and steele here since i still like these

i wondered how to introduce steele into balto next gen stuff since he kinda disappears after the first movie, and my love for the trope of a bad guy getting attached to an orphan won out in the end lol
at this point i imagine steele's been ostracized for a while (for good reason of course) and this pup probably has seen him around and relates to steele as she's also often ignored/bullied due to her bad leg
she chews her way out of the rope leash around her one day and goes to steele, and maybe for the first time steele can start seeing things outside of his own head as he (begrudgingly) starts taking care of the pup seeing as she has no on else and neither does he
her name's copper and she's based on a finnish lapphund! though i don't think she's purely any breed of dog
i don't have much of a story idea or anything in mind for her, i think she has a lot of admiration for steele but doesn't believe she could be a sled dog like he used to be due to her limp
most of her aspirations probably center around being a good dog and getting pets
steele probably loses his cool sometimes with her but having already been through a lot she doesn't really take it to heart (or she's a bit too dopey to care)
